Would you stop to watch the announcement of a hybrid engine?
Probably you would not. But Renault challenged us to do just that.
The French giant debuted in their best-selling cars a hybrid engine built in collaboration with their Formula 1 team. To promote this partnership, we decided to go for an ad that mixed two of our audience's passions: Formula 1 and manga (thank you, data).
The result is an animation created in record time for the Geneva Motor Show and, later, shared with millions of young viewers on social media who flooded Renault's networks with comments like "This is awesome!" or "Please, make a real cartoon out of this".
